Breaking: 20 People Died While Fleeing From Bandit's Attack In Zamfara State




At least More than 20 people including women and children were recorded to have died in Kali community of Gumi Local Government Area, Zamfara State, while escaping from bandits’ attack.

It was learnt that their boat capsized in a river.


It was gathered that the incident occurred on Wednesday morning when bandits simultaneously invaded Guni and Kurgbaku communities, forcing the residents to flee.



“The bandits were seen moving towards Kalli village on motorcycles with sophisticated weapons to attack the community, which forced the villagers to flee for their safety,” he added.


The reporter explained that five corpses were recovered at Falale River, four at Birnin Magaji River, while three were also recovered at Gadar Gummi River.


Police are yet to issue any statement as regarding to this reported incident.
