Fellow Nigerians, as we mark the second anniversary of our administration, I salute your resilience and undaunted spirit. Today make it two years that you handed this nation over to me with the sacred responsibility to lead this nation even at this time of economic challenges. Together, we have faced these challenges with courage, determination and hope.
Despite all challenges in the cost of living and others, at least we have made an undeniable achievements which all of us can be a witness to.
Inflation has began to go gradually as the price of rice and other food stuffs are dropping. The oil and gas sector is recovering; rig counts are up by over 400% in 2025 compared to 2021, and over $8 billion in new investments have been committed. The economy has been stabilised through our efforts and things are now better positioned for stable growth with the aim of standing tall from the global shocks.
Things are now getting better than ever and in the area of insecurity, we have tried our best to make sure that insecurity in Nigeria has taken a good dimension. We need your support to do more for together we shall move this country forward.
Our two years in office is not a waste rather it has done something which eyes has seen and witnessed.
Our journey is not over, rather the journey has just began. I acknowledge what some of you has passed through including the sacrifices you have made towards this journey and I promise to tackle every emerging challenges by God's grace.
I want you to believe that the future is bright and together we will build this nation in such a way that all of us will be proud to be called Nigerians. It's not by my power anyway, but by the power of God who started this. He must surely be with us till the end of time.
