IPOB having seen the hardship in Nigeria and sensed how hard and terrible the future hardship will be, began a massive campaign since the beginning of this rainy season. IPOB encouraged every Igbo families in the Eastern region to go back to the farm. It didn't stop there, IPOB went the extra mile and used own money to procure healthy seedlings for the farmers.
There is this saying that honor should be given to whom it is due, our people here who have already harvested their crops are amazed that they are harvesting in folds and in return, they are giving the credit to the Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB) for the initiative and support. It was successful because IPOB already planned for it. It wouldn't have been possible if IPOB had only said go back to the farms without first securing the farms against terrorists Fulani invaders. So, thumps-up for the Eastern Security Network (ESN). They have done so greatly by risking their own lives to securing our farmers, their crops and our entire territory.
With this, even if all the regions in Nigeria are crying of hunger, our region being excluded of the hunger cries will rather sell food to them. Right now unlike before, the good news is that almost every Igbo families both home and abroad owns at least a farm in Igboland.
The "Go Back To The Farm" initiative is still on. We are not done with it yet. Every Igbo families has to own a farm to keep any incoming hardship and hunger away from our families and region.
Last time we saw a publication made by one of Nigeria's main stream media that the price of garri and other food stuffs have massively dropped in Igboland. That is incredible, trust the process. Even the less privileged families in our region can now afford a painter of garri and would not die of hunger anymore.
If you are yet to return to the farm, get ready to return because the initiative is still on. Everyone of us both at home and abroad must own at least a farm back home in support for the initiative.
