Don't make a river that belongs to everyone your personal property, you can create a pond in your own compound and start worshipping whatever you wants to worship there.
If a lady tries out many things in life and they don’t work out, she goes back to the village and becomes Ezenwanyi.
And why we banned them from going to the water, among other things, is because that river is owned by the community and everybody. If you must worship your gods in a river, kindly go and create a pond in your compound; they are all water.
You can’t go to a river that belongs to all of us and make all manner of sacrifices and concoctions and later dump them inside the river. After, someone else from another side of the river (who is not aware of the substances you have dumped inside the river) will fetch from that same river and drink, this is very pathetic.
Is the governor not making sense on this ?
